Very cool building, decor and overall vibe. It's in the old WWJ news radio building, and is well appointed inside. They have some pictures from when the radio station operated back in the day in a cool display near the lobby. Lobby has a sort of radio theme and is a cool place to hang out. The place smelled great. Staff was super friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Literally all staff we interacted with were just so nice. The basement has a cool bar and recreation area with golf simulators, duckpin bowling and some table games such as ping pong. A very cool hidden space with kind of an arcade vibe. This would be a good place to go if you have kids, it's big with a bunch of stuff to do. There's also an enclosed courtyard with patio chairs and giant Jenga sets. It's up to road from the people mover, so if you're looking to go into downtown hit up the Fort/Cass station. There is a bike rental stand right there and there are often e-scooters from the various apps outside. We walked to Corktown in about 20 minutes.

The room was spotless with plenty of space for luggage. The King-size bed was very comfortable. There were Plenty of light switches and power outlets. Tv, refrigerator and safe are also in-room amenities. The Hotel is stylish with framed black and white photos of Detroit's past matching the black and white carpeting on third floor leading to the elevator. Guests check-in on the third floor - not the first floor. I also liked the huge discount in price I got by doing a little homework -- compare prices offered on different days of the week (the season matters as well).

My brother and I had a siblings night to hang out and catch up away from the rest of our families. We hit Baobab and Cliff Bells (2 of my favorite places) and walked the city and talked. The hotel was clean and beautiful. Staff was great. We arrived back just too late for glow bowling and shuffle board, which was a little disappointing because we were just about ready for some silly fun. We got a nightcap in the hotel bar and took then upstairs for more conversation. Great all the way around.

It's a fairly new Hotel. Modern Design is comforting, attractive: sliding doors for bathroom, dark wood cabinet for coffee bar/closet, smooth floors- carpeting in hallway not in room; In-room safe and refrigerator. Bed was cozy (king-sized), plenty of towels, lots of light - many wall sockets and light switches. Shower layout was perfect Also, something a little different-- guests check-in on the third floor (not the first floor).

Atmosphere and location was Great. A mile walk to Ford field but it was a safe and enjoyable walk with shops and restaurants to stop at along the way. Hotel was really nice with a great bar/ entertainment center in the basement. Hotel bar looked nice but we didn't try it because they said their dishwasher was down and they would only serve from plastic cups. Basement bar was great though! Beds were comfortable and rooms were nice.
